Michael Cohen founded United Imaging in Chatsworth, California in 1984. We moved to larger offices last January, with our main office located in Woodland Hills. United Imaging is divided into two divisions. One takes care of client’s imaging supply needs, while the other is an authorized Ricoh copier and facsimile dealer.
Imaging Supply Division
The Imaging Supply division maintains a large database of clients from across the country that purchase supplies for their copiers, fax machines, and computers from our Sales and Marketing Executives. The Executives are competitive in their pricing and will work to maintain a price for the client that remains the lowest cost for the client. Each quarter we publish a catalog of our merchandise and send it to our clients. Although the catalog contains most of the items that we sell, from laser toner cartridges to computer disks, we are capable of special ordering almost any imaging or office supply item. Items that we have special ordered in the past include media boxes, computers, and printers. Again, the pricing on these items is competitive with other local and national office supply locations. Orders are shipped for next day delivery from one of our distribution centers located in major cities across the country.
Ricoh Copier and Facsimile Authorized Dealership
Besides selling supplies for imaging equipment, we also sell the equipment itself. We are an authorized Ricoh copier and facsimile dealer from Los Angeles to Ventura, including Simi Valley, Palmdale, and San Bernardino. Ricoh seemed the natural choice to be a dealer for. They are a leader in imaging equipment and have recently added a new line of digital copiers, fax machines, and multi-function units. We sell a wide range of the Ricoh imaging products, from the high end copiers that can copy and bind entire manuals to desktop fax machines that can also serve as printers and scanners. Our Sales and Marketing Executives in this division are available for in-house consultation to help the client to determine what their needs are and what type of machine is necessary to fill those needs. The Executive can also explain our various financing programs, from purchase to lease to paying only for the number of copies that the client will make.
Technical Services
Of course we wouldn’t be a complete imaging center unless we also provided technician services. We have factory trained technicians that are able to repair all major brands of printers, copiers, and fax machines. We strive to be the industry leader in response time with a technician on the premises within two to four hours of the service call. On our Ricoh products we also offer complete maintenance packages, that include loaners, should the unexpected need arise.
