Kimball at the IIDA LA HAUNT COUTURE 2019

IIDA LA Haunt Couture is an annual event that fuses fashion, design and architecture. This spectacular runway show competition challenges designers to create and construct inspiring haute couture fashion from design materials. This is an evening of incredible performances, and dancing and one of the most anticipated events of the year, raising money to promote professional development, wellness, and education programs for IIDA Los Angeles. Bringing together Interiors Designers, Universities, Architecture, Furniture Manufactures, Fabric Manufacture and Creatives to celebrate collaboration and Los Angeles.

This year Kimball Southern California, teamed up with Abramson Teiger Architects and  Momentum Textiles to strut their stuff on the runway in a one-of-a-kind couture collection inspired by the prompt “Fear of Open Water”. This is the inaugural performance for Abramson Teiger Architects team, comprised of Sara Cecil, Sasha Monge, Alexandria (Lexie) Glass, Kendra Ramirez, Guelsah Kuecuek Cavdarli and Partner Bjorn Schrader, LEED AP. Kurt Gombatz, Kimball and Tina Carrillo, supported the team behind the scenes and “stage-parenting”.
