A leading Technology Service company in West SFV seeking Desktop and Server level Technicians and Consultants to provide onsite service our clients using both Mac and Windows.

Responsibilities include
  • *Receiving and understanding instruction from mangers, co-workers and clients
  • *Driving to client sites and arriving on time
  • *Delivering technical services and or troubleshooting, sometimes in pressurized situations
  • *Documenting in detail all “on the job” notes, activities and services provided
  • *Being happy and helpful and enabling everyone around you to have a great day

  • *Proficiency installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop workstation devices, including PCs, Macs, Printers, Document Imaging Systems, Monitors, Battery Backup Systems, (both software and hardware component aspects) and all types of networking equipment
  • *Proficiency installing, troubleshooting, updating, and configuring desktop productivity applications on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS workstations
  • *Strong functional understanding of Windows XP, 7 & 8 and the configuration or troubleshooting skills required to setup or fix
  • *Strong functional understanding of MacOS 10.6.x-10.9.x and the configuration or troubleshooting skills required to setup or fix
  • *Understanding of IP networking, knowledge of the procedures used to troubleshoot network issues, and the ability to diagnose and resolve networking issues/conflicts
  • *Understanding of system/network security risks and familiarity with tools necessary to verify and scan for vulnerabilities.
  • *Ability to communicate with non-technical users and assist them with technical issues
  • *Strong understanding of MS Active Directory and MS Exchange Email, on prem and cloud
  • *Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environments.
  • *Senior level candidates will have experience with server setup and configuration (Win & Mac) as well as advanced firewalls (SonicWall, Cisco, etc)

  • *High School Diploma or higher.
  • *4+ years computer/technical experience.
  • *Must have your own car, with current insurance and an valid driver’s license.
  • *Must have a laptop (Mac or Win) with new OS and a SmartPhone that receives email and can run apps.
  • *Excellent communication and documentation skills are a must. (Technical Support experience a plus).
  • *Must dress business casual at all times, no jeans, no sneakers.
  • *Must be able to demonstrate analytic thinking and rapid problem solving skills.
  • *Must have experience with desktop PC & Mac hardware.
  • *Must be able to troubleshoot/configure Windows XP, 7, 8 & Mac OS X.
  • *Senior Candidates must be able to troubleshoot/configure Windows Server 2003+ & Mac Server 10.7+
  • *Must have experience with consumer & professional networking equipment: switches, routers, firewalls, access points, etc.
  • *Senior Candidates must be able to troubleshoot/configure managed switches and firewalls (SonicWall, Cisco, etc)
  • *Familiarity with Active Directory is a must.
  • *Familiarity with networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP is a must.
  • *Ability to lift 50lbs on occasion.An ideal candidate could be an independent “IT guy” or IT business owner that is tired of running the business and wants to do what they do best, the work. Generous commissions paid on active client accounts that you bring into our environment and convert into our clients. We may consider your entire team as candidate employees too.
