UI, has implemented a strategic initiative to increase Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) suppliers in sourcing the products we offer. This HUB Supplier Program was created to increase diverse supplier opportunities, encourage participation and add qualified suppliers who meet our HUB and general supplier criteria so that these suppliers may potentially become suppliers of choice.

Women Business Enterprises (WBE): A business that is not less than 51 percent owned by one or more women, or in the case of a publicly owned business, no less than 51 percent of the stock must be owned by one or more women and management and daily operations must be controlled by one or more women.

HUB Compliance: A supplier who was either certified by WBENC as a woman-owned business or by NMSDC as a minority-owned business or is affiliated with AbilityOne.
