Workplace Beyond the Edges

Join Metropolis and Perkins and Will for a Think Tank discussion on Workplace Beyond the Edges.

About this Event

We have witnessed the transition of the corporate workplace to be comprised of more shared spaces and less individual spaces, primarily to address evolving business models, team fluidity, and staff increases. In lieu of leasing more real estate, companies are considering/implementing alternate strategies—including free address and agile environments within their lease space, as well as shared building facilities or coworking areas outside their lease space—to provide workspace for staff. But how do these strategies impact an employee’s productivity and well-being? Looking through the lenses of light, sound, privacy, and comfort, this panel will discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by finite real estate, and how employers can continue to support the emotional and physical well-being of employees.
